# Bitbucket Setup

> Connect a Bitbucket Cloud workspace.

DevPerform reads pull requests, approvals, and commits from Bitbucket Cloud to compute the same metrics it does for GitHub and GitLab.

## Connect Bitbucket

1. Sign in to DevPerform (with Bitbucket, or any provider).
2. In **Admin → Connect a code host**, click **Connect Bitbucket**.
3. Authorize DevPerform on the Bitbucket consent screen — **read-only** access to your account, repositories, and pull requests.
4. DevPerform creates your workspace, auto-tracks accessible repos, and starts syncing.

<Note>
  Connecting Bitbucket also signs you in — a Bitbucket-only team never needs a GitHub account.
</Note>

## What gets read

* Pull requests + approvals, comments, commits, and diffs (cycle time, review health, churn)
* Deployments and issues (for DORA — optional; issue tracking needs the `issue` read scope)
* Workspace members (for the one-click team import)

Read-only throughout.

## Notes

* **Bitbucket Cloud** (bitbucket.org) is supported today. Self-hosted Bitbucket Data Center uses a different API — [contact us](mailto:sales@devperform.io) if you need it.
* Bitbucket doesn't expose member emails via its API, so DevPerform fills engineer emails from commit metadata instead — no manual entry needed.
