Goals (sometimes called “working agreements”) let a team commit to a measurable target tied to any DevPerform metric, and track whether they’re meeting it.

Examples

  • Keep median PR size under 100 lines
  • Keep cycle time under 2 days
  • Keep unreviewed merges under 5%

How they work

  1. Create a goal against a metric, with a target threshold and direction (under / over).
  2. DevPerform evaluates it for the selected period and marks it met or not met.
  3. The executive summary shows an at-a-glance “N of M goals on track” rollup.
Goals are framed as shared team agreements, not individual quotas — consistent with DevPerform’s team-health positioning. They’re a way for a team to hold itself accountable to the working norms it chose.
Goals are available on the Growth plan and up. See Plans.

Survey-dimension goals

Goals can target survey dimensions as well as delivery metrics: pick any dimension from your surveys (unit /100, higher is better) and the goal evaluates against the newest survey wave that clears the anonymity threshold — waves below it show “no data” rather than a pass/fail. The fastest way to create one is from a survey’s results: mark a dimension as a Focus area and use “Create a goal from this.”
